On 1st October 2014 the MAGEEC project will be placing an order for the manufacture of a new batch of energy measurement boards. These are used together with the ARM Cortex M4-based STM32F4DISCOVERY board and a python framework, to provide a low cost solution that is capable of measuring energy consumption at 3 independent points and with simultaneous measurement of those targets at 2,000,000 samples/second. While the solution is by no means a finished product, it has become clear that a wider community would like to evaluate the technology. To support this, the MAGEEC project has decided to increase the order so that evaluation kits can be made available to interested parties at cost. Those who would like to obtain one or more kits should register their interest before 30th September and for further details see the MAGEEC website.
