Example Loosely Timed SystemC TLM 2.0 SoC Models
Embecosm Software Package
ESP 1
Release 2.0, February 2010.
This package contains all the SystemC model examples
described in Embecosm Application Note
EAN 1, Building a Loosely Timed SoC Model
with OSCI TLM 2.0: A Case Study Using an Open
Source ISS and Linux 2.6 Kernel, issue 2. The
package includes comprehensive source code documentation
and demonstration applications to run on the SoC.
Release 2.0 adds support for IEEE 1149.1 JTAG debug
transactions. The entire suite now uses GNU
autotools, greatly simplifying configuration
and building.
The examples make use of the Or1ksim architectural
simulator for the OpenRISC 1000 architecture. This
release of the example code is designed for use with the
next version of Or1ksim, 0.4.0, due for release
mid-2010. The examples work correctly with the
pre-release version of this tool.
The package is currently available for Linux
only. Please contact support@embecosm.com
for information on Windows availability.
